Can anyone shed some light on my problem.
I have three VOB a, b, c, the main vob is a and it has symbolic links setup to
the vobs b and c
/vob-storage/a
/vob-storage/b
/vob-storage/c
cd /vob-storage/a
ls -l
c --> ../c
b --> ../b
the links are soft links not hard links,
>From the manual I had hoped to then be able to use the -follow option in find
findmerge etc to traverse
all three VOB from within VOB a.
But it does not seen to work
ie
cleartool find -avobs -visible -version "brtype(xxx) -print shows me elements
on branch xxx from vobs a, b and c
but
cleartool find /vob-storage/a -visable -follow -all -version "brtype(xxx) -print
only shows me those in a.
Is my understanding of the -follow option wrong
