It does not make sense to delete old versions in your
CM-system. If you really want to do that, then you don't need
a CM-system.
Furthermore, I don't think that they win anything in terms of
performance or diskspace when you do this (this has
been discussed in previous threads, check the archive).
Anyway, if they still want to get rid of their past, I would probably
make a backup of the existing VOB (the VOB-storage), and
recreate a new VOB from scratch. You can then populate this
new VOB with the LATEST-versions in the old VOB (using
clearexport_ffile and clearimport).
