Hi Stephane,
how did you remove the view? Was the vob available at that time?
Seems that the references to the DO's have not been removed from the VOB.
You could try "ct describe -long vob:<vob-tag>" to see the views the vob is
holding objects from.
If you find views that don't exist any more, try a "ct rmview -uuid <UUID>"
for the not existing views. This should clean up your vob.
Bye
Bernd

Betreff: [cciug] Where's my DO?
Maybe you guys would know the answer to this one. When I type the
following command:
% lsdo -zero -long -recurse .
I get a whole bunch of DO's listed for a view that no longer exists.
Here's an example of one:
25-Feb-99.13:51:52 ???.???
create derived object
"build/cc/040s/vxWorks.st.map@@25-Feb.13:51.38108"
references: 1 =>
durian:/export/home/snguyen/viewstore/stefan_view2.vws
If I try to list that particular DO I get:
%ct lsdo -long vxWorks.st.map@@25-Feb.13:51.38108
cleartool: Error: Not a derived object:
"vxWorks.st.map@@25-Feb.13:51.38108"
If I try to remove it I get:
%ct rmdo vxWorks.st.map@@25-Feb.13:51.38108
cleartool: Error: Derived object not found:
"vxWorks.st.map@@25-Feb.13:51.38108".
Any idea on how I could clean this up? Mind you I have probably a
hundred of similar DO's popping up. Could it be that the DO's resided
in the view once upon a time and that now the VOB is confused? Any
suggestions are welcome. Thanks,
-Steph
