The MKS file format has extensions that don't conform to the
rcsfile(5) standard. This applies to metadata added to the admin
section of the RCS file, and to the way in which binary files are
stored.

You can filter out the new metadata before invoking clearcvt_rcs.
But you may have to check out each version of a binary file and
check it in separately to ClearCase, then apply the necessary labels.
