Did you try putting the pathname to bash in the
first line of my_script? E.g.
#!/usr/local/bin/bash
This is standard UNIX technique. If you did this and
it didn't work, I'd be very surprised and interested.
To test whether you're getting your login environment,
insert "echo $SHELL" in the script and see what it says.

| Hello,
|
| Rational's documentation on this is less than desirable, and I am
| certain someone must have tried this long ago.
|
| A (nightly) cron build in Unix (Solaris). I see from setview, I can
| use -login and -exec and that -login will grab my login environment, but I
| obviously need to run a script, and the documentation stops short of saying
| "we don't support bash" but it does list only c and bin shells.
|
| Have any of you successfully written a bash shell within the command
|
| setview -login -exec "/myscript_file" build_view
|
|
| ???
