Hi,
We are presently using clearcase in a large scale and I am in the
process of moving a small group of developers and their code from RCS to
CC.
As the codes were there for a long time, we decided to pick a label from
RCS and converted from there on (to avoid too much meta data.) . But
there is no way I could figure out when the label was applied . The RCS
file's rlog tells against which version the label was applied for a
given file. I can't take this date as the checkin for that particular
release(label) would have happened at different times for different
files.
I am planing to write a script to go through all the files and find the
checkin date corresponding to the version that label got applied and
pick the latest date amongst them. (assuming no additional changes where
made on files those already been checked in for this release(label) ).
Is there any other way?.. I did not se an option in clearexport_rcs to
supply a label as option.. but I do see a date.
Thanks in advance.
