have you checked the following:
- user clearcase_albd must be in group "admins" and in group "clearcase".
- your primary group on NT (%CLEARCASE_PRIMARY_GROUP% or domain account)
seems not to be set right.

I just installed NT on a server and I am having a problem when I start the
services
This is very familar, can someone jog my memory on what to check in order to
resolve this problem.
The event log has the following error message:
Albd(175); Error: albd_server must run in the clearcase group
When I run clearlicense I get the following:
albd_contact call failed: RPC Timed out
clearlicense: Error: Unable to contact albd_server on host 'domhrct'
clearlicense: Error: Cannot contact license server host "domhrct"
When I run creds I get the following:
Login name: mp13135
UID: 0x303ec
Primary Group: None (0x30201)
Groups:
None (0x30201)
Administrators (0x20220)
Current user is ClearCase privileged
