Hi Axel,
what you could do to move the VOB is:
- unmount the VOB, unregister it and remove the tag with "rmtag".
- copy the entire VOB storage directory to the destination machine,
- register the directory, make a tag and mount it.
We did that a few times on UNIX - I have no experience in this procedure
under NT.
Bye
Bernd

Betreff: [cciug] NT: restore VOB to host in different domain
Perhaps one of you experts out there knows an answer to this one:
Is there a procedure to restore a VOB backup to a host in a different WinNT
domain (other than using MultiSite or clearexport_ccase) ? The CC 3.2 admin
manual says on pp. 142 that the VOB move procedure described in the manual
requires that the restore location is within the same NT domain.
I don't want to replicate my VOB just to move it to another domain. And
clearexport_ccase does not export the entire VOB contents.
Cheers, Axel.
