Annette,
I don't entirely understand your questions, but will add my $.02 in the
hopes that it helps out. You can run clearexport_rcs and clearimport
multiple times, and it is smart enough to only insert new versions since
the last clearexport_rcs/clearimport.
Are you saying that you have a second RCS tree with some or all of the
same elements that you want to layer on top of the RCS tree you've
already imported?
