The following position is located in Teradyne's Boston Ma, facility,
in the Industrial/Consumer Division (ICD), Teradyne's largest and most
profitable division. This division is responsible for the design and
manufacture of Automated Test Equipment used by semiconductor
manufacturers to test mixed-signal integrated circuits. Compensation

ICD is looking for a team oriented, well organized individual to manage
and administrate source code branches for our flagship software product.
This Branch Manager will be responsible for monitoring automated testing
results, resolving open issues with developers and conducting periodic
branch merges. In addition, our consistent market growth presents new
projects and interesting long-term team challanges optimizing ClearCase,
re-evaluating branching strategies and implementing new release tools.
The position requires a B.S. in Science or Technology, strong ClearCase
and Multisite experience, solid technical communication and organization
skills, and a desire to work in an experienced team. The environment
includes a very complex software product running on Sun UNIX, a fairly
mature release process and a diverse development community.
Ability to write C, Perl, csh or makefiles a plus.
