Does anyone have an idea what could be the root cause why it takes too long to
link during clearmake? Recently, I've been bombarded by calls from developers
that they didn't have problems before. I checked on the view (which of course
grow with the size of view private files and DOs) and the machines where they
run them from and end up with nothing. The performance of their access to the
server (VOB and view , btw we are running HPUX10.20 w/ ClearCase 3.2.1) seem
good enough. I doubt our network but how do I quantify this?
