RE: [cciug] Administering Unix VOBs from NT

Hi,

If it is control of checkin on a branch you are looking for then Patriate
has developed a tool called Access*Rite which
provides much more flexibility and granularity of process control and
access control for ClearCase.

It is likely that you want to restrict operations on a branch during build
times etc. Access*Rite lets you configure (via a GUI) who has access to a
branch at any time and for what purpose. This is different from locking a
branch type where a lock would prevent such operations as mklabel and
mkattr, important commands during any build test and verification stages I
would say.

Another feature already taken care of in Access*Rite.

Regards
Steve.
