[cciug] NT access across multiple domains.

First, we are an all NT shop. I have some users who need access to our vobs
on the abc domain. They are logging into the xyz domain. Both domains are
on the same subnet and you can see both servers. We do NOT have a trust set
up between the two domains and I am told we will not have a trust. We can
get to the vobs and mount them. The problem is that we have a shared view
that they all need to access. We connect the shared dynamic view to the R:
drive and that works fine. We have checked out files but the user only has
read access. They cannot do any operations on the files other than look at
them. When looking at the properties/protection for the elements it shows
456782 as the owner and 467899 as the group. That explains the restricted
access.

The trick we are using to get through the two domains is that the user has
the same userid and password on both domains and NT will allow a
pass-through. Does anyone know of a way to allow read/write access to the
shared dynamic view?
