We're starting to implement MultiSite to communicate with a partner we're
working in parallel with and the question has popped up - what exactly does
MultiSite buy us that we couldn't achieve by letting our partner use a
ClearCase client to connect directly to our ClearCase server?
Going through the doc we get a feeling of better security and that if our
partner was doing a large amount of work, the network access time is better
for them since they'll be working with a local server and only communicating
with our site occasionally. Are there any other things that MultiSite buys
us?
