AW: [cciug] Clearcase Admin

Hi John,

At our site, we have a department for "engineering support" which means that
we care for the development environments of about 12 projects (more to come
up) on different platforms (HP-UX, AIX, NT) and about 100+ developers.
Our task is to keep the environments going, including other tools (besides
ClearCase/MultiSite) like ClearQuest and SNIFF+.
We are four people and can hardly take some time to test new releases (like
CC 4.0). There are people with different scopes in the projects who can do
part of the admin stuff, but most things have to be done by us. We are
planning to add LINUX as an engineering platform and this will take some
time and manpower. Actually, we are looking for one or two people to join in
- so, administering development environments really can afford some
manpower. Depends mostly on what the people in the projects can do by
themselves.

Bye
Bernd
