Hello all,
I am trying to find an "easy" way to convert RCS files onto a branch that
will keep the original history.
We are in the process of converting all our code into ClearCase. It is now
in RCS and with each new release a new tree was created. I now have
appoximately 4 trees that I need to convert into one tree with 3 branches.
The initial conversion goes well. The original RCS history (which is
important I keep) will not come over onto the branch. I have thought about
creating a script that will check each version in an out but am hoping that
someone has a better more automated solution to this.
I was contacted by someone who said they were a Rational rep and they have
a script to actually merge from VOB to VOB preserving history but have been
unable to locate this person..
ANY and ALL input will be welcomed.
