I usually prefer to split my time between CC admin and also with Systems
admin work and/or software process engineering. We are usually more
effective if we are not just doing CC admin. This means that it is usually
important to have several CC admins, so we can all be part time and then
also build up other skills sets. A good way to pull this off is to identify
tasks that can be done by others and then document the procedures. (This is
a great excuse to create an Intranet to play with.) By empowering others to
also be CC admins you can diversify your own skills and then you're not just
a pretty face.
