Depending on the day here clearcase admin issues can take from zero to 100%
of the time. It also depends on how much other support you have. For instance,
if your clearcase admin is also going to have to deal with taking care of
other administrative issues (keeping the IP network and NFS going, etc...)
than you can rapidly chew up a whole person.
In practice around here if clearcase bombs work slows down to a near
standstill including the poor guy who is defacto adminstrator who needs
to burn cycles fixing the clearcase problems.
