I'm accessing unix views/vobs from an NT machine. I can open checked in
elements in an editor and view their contents. I can create a view private
text file. If I try to open that view private text file (or a checked out
element), I get either a Blue Screen of Death or a hard reboot.
I am able to create and edit files through NFS - the problem is confined
to ClearCase mvfs access. Disabling Norton AntiVirus had no effect.
NT 4.0 with Service Pack 5;
ClearCase 3.2.1, with all patches through 20;
Unix Vobs 3.2.1, also at the latest patches;
Intergraph DiskAccess NFS Client 04.01.00.09
The tech support person at Rational had me uninstall and reinstall
ClearCase: the result was the same.
Any ideas?
