Navjeet,
You are right as to the fact that Solaris is the most used UNIX operating
system. I have not had any problems with Suns support. We also have Unixware here and
have had nothing but problems with version 7.1.1. Also the sup[port for Unixware is terrible,
they cannot even fix the problems we are having with NIS. The Sun equipment is a little more
expensive, but you will have less headaches in the long run. Also Rational only supports
Unixware as a second teir product.
