About the podcasts

Podcast 1: IBM Lotus Expeditor Overview
In this podcast, we provide an overview of Lotus Expeditor software -- its underlying technology, capabilities and key benefits. Lotus Expeditor software is an Eclipse-based platform that can be used to extend Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications to managed clients on desktops, laptops, kiosks, and mobile devices. These applications can aggregate a variety of applications in a single composite view and can run offline or online.

Podcast 2: Take IBM WebSphere Portal offline with IBM Lotus Expeditor
Lotus Expeditor software provides offline access to WebSphere Portal applications and enables the delivery of composite applications that aggregate non-portlet applications as well as portlets. In this podcast, we discuss the key benefits of extending portal applications to managed clients and show how this extension can be achieved through the Lotus Expeditor client and its tools.

Podcast 3: Business process automation with IBM Lotus Expeditor and IBM Lotus Forms
In this podcast, we discuss benefits of integrating Lotus Forms with Lotus Expeditor software and how this integration can be achieved. Electronic forms can help businesses to reduce costs through streamlining and automating forms-driven business processes. Lotus Expeditor software provides security-rich automatic synchronization to deliver forms to business processes. It also enables the aggregation of these forms in composite applications.

Podcast 4: Take IBM WebSphere offline with IBM Lotus Expeditor
Lotus Expeditor software extends the Java™ Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) programming model to managed clients on laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. In this podcast, we discuss how Web applications can be run locally by using the Lotus Expeditor client and its tools.

Podcast 5: Mobile access with IBM Lotus Expeditor
Lotus Expeditor software helps enable anytime, anywhere access to information and applications with or without network connectivity on Microsoft® Windows Mobile®, Microsoft Windows® CE, and Nokia E90-based devices. In this podcast, we discuss the benefits of using Lotus Expeditor software as a mobile platform, and we discuss architectural and design considerations for doing so.

Podcast 6: IBM Lotus Expeditor: The Microsoft .NET client alternative
