Rational Developer for System z (v 8.5.1): Navigating Data Sets using JCL

This short video demonstrates improvements to the Navigate Data Set function.

Pavan Kumar Immaneni is an Advisory Software Engineer at IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory, San Jose. He joined IBM in 2000 and has been working as one of the lead developers on Rational® Developer for System z® which helps make traditional mainframe development and integrated mixed workload development faster and more efficient. Over the last few years, he has also been serving as Functional Verification Test and Accessibility Test lead and works with software development and test organizations to ensure a quality product. Pavan graduated from the Northern Illinois University with Masters in Computer Science.

Kimberlee is an information and visual designer with the Rational User Technologies team. She works with development to improve Rational product interface design and documentation, and creates multimedia content to help promote products and educate customers.

Navigate Data Set helps you easily locate your control cards or DD cards. Instead of searching through multiple data sets in the Remote Systems view to determine where a data set exists, now you can select the data set in JCL, and choose Navigate to Data Set.
