Organizing requirements by using modules in the IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation V4.0.1 web client

Yianna Papadakis-Kantos is the curriculum architect and instructional designer for IBM Rational DOORS, and IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation. Her background consists of many years of teaching, consulting and developing training, for enterprise architecture management and model driven development for system, software and testing.

Summary:  This demo focuses on editing artifacts from within a module. Learn how to edit the module attributes, as well as the attributes of the contained artifacts. The demo switches between a number of views to highlight the reuse of requirements in multiple modules, multilevel compliance of requirements, suspect links and dropped requirements. Learn how to create links between two artifacts in different modules. See how the link explorer is used to review multilevel tracing of requirements. And finally, the structure of the module is considered; learn how to add, delete, and move artifacts while maintaining a proper hierarchy and module structure.
