Demo details

For some the number 7 may bring to mind the 7 wonders of the Ancient World, or Yul Brynner and The Magnificent Seven. In Chinese, the number 7 symbolizes "togetherness". It is a lucky number for relationships and is one of the rare numbers considered lucky in both Chinese and many Western cultures. In this video we’re going to look at the 7 fundamentals of Requirements Management: Granularity, attributes, hierarchy, traceability, collaboration, history and security, and reporting. In this second of two videos we continue our investigation of Rational DOORS Next Generation, focusing on traceability, impact analysis and the use of layering of abstraction levels to manage complexity. In these 2 videos we will highlight both the similarities and differences with the 'classic' Rational DOORS (9.x) product line; including dashboards and project planning features of new Jazz platform, the use of suspicion profiles to manage the ripple effects of changes, and the ability to generate reports from modules views using the handy quick print feature.
