Product name change

On December 16th, 2008, IBM announced that as of Version 7.5.1, Rational Data Architect is renamed to InfoSphere Data Architect to feature its role in InfoSphere Foundation Tools.

During this demo, learn how to:

  • Reverse engineer an existing database into a physical data model

  • Create a diagram of those parts of the model which are of interest

  • Use the diagram editor to modify the model

  • Compare the changed version of the model to the original database

  • Create a delta DDL script that can be used to deploy your changes back to the database
