Akmal B. Chaudhri, Senior IT Specialist, IBM Developer Skills program. Akmal has been working with database technology since 1988. He has been a regular presenter at many international conferences, including Object World, Object Technology and OOPSLA. He has also edited or co-edited eight books, including XML Data Management (Addison-Wesley, 2003). He holds a BSc (1st Class Hons.) in Computing & Information Systems, MSc in Business Systems Analysis & Design and a PhD in Computer Science. He is also a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS).
