This group talks about the IBM suite of products responsible for monitoring. From IBM's point of view, there are 5 levels of monitoring: infrastructure monitoring, application monitoring, service level monitoring, business service monitoring, business activity monitoring and business intelligence and that there are 4 components to service management: monitoring, event management, business, business service visualization and process automation.

execution excellence using technology and programming language agnostic

frameworks and libraries 3) process/application/data integration using

(ITIL) and other industry-wide recognized methodologies. He is ITIL v3 Foundations certified, and IBM Certified Solution Designer in SOA and Rational Unified Process. He is the author of several IBM DeveloperWorks articles on the use of Tivoli Monitoring.
