BigData represents a new and fast growing era in data exploration and utilization. IBM Big Data addresses key customer enterprise data requirements and provides a robust platform for the three V's: Variety, Velocity and Volume. Built on a foundation of open source components, IBM extends the open source, Hadoop platform to provide additional analytics, enhanced ease of use, and extensive integration in order to deliver an enterprise class solution. In this workshop the audience will explore IBM’s Big Data platform incorporating data at rest using IBM InfoSphere BigInsights and data in motion with IBM Infosphere Streams.

Attendees will experience several presentations delivering an insight into the Big Data platform which are supplemented with several hands-on lab exercises providing interaction with Infosphere BigInsights and Infosphere Streams. Industry experience and examples will also be given alongside live demos.
