Once a community is designated as solely for your organization, it can never be changed to allow people from outside your organization.
The Industries site on developerWorks is a new site devoted to technical IT topics related to particular industries - like Healthcare, Government, Banking, and so on. The site contains articles, tutorials, and other resources for industry-specific topics like industry schemas, industry models, best practices, and tools. There are also links to social networking sites that relate to an industry so developers can share ideas.

As we start this new area in developerWorks, we want to gather some feedback and suggestions about topics that could be covered, important events for that industry, social networking sites (communities, blogs, or wikis) that are useful, or other resources that we might include in Industries.  We don't have a Comment feature on developerWorks main pages (only on articles and tutorials), so this group serves as your means of telling us how we might make the Industries site a better resource for you.
