 Hi to all,

we students of Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology - chevella - hyderabad.
working on a project called Geotag survey which is approved by TGMC 2010...

Picture Geotag web survey 2.0 is survey conducted on geo-tagged pictures/images (under creative commons license) uploaded to Image hosting websites like Flickr.com used majorly for educational purposes. The aim of the survey is to collect the user opinions and obtain the results out of metadata associated with most interesting pictures that represent geographic space.

Flickr API is used to extract the images and its metadata. Each picture has specified questions posed to achieve the survey requirements. The validation of the survey is made by using the web-portal or a website which hosts the survey.

Using such tagged images for survey is the primary specification of our survey project. Few questions are posed over the images and results are stored w.r.t the unique openid provided by the user to ensure uniqueness of the validated result. Secondary specification is to achieve the high level result over the geographical content and to validate this result to various real time applications.

regards, 2geeks
