A Controlled Natural Language is a restricted form of a language that is readable by humans and unambiguous to computers. Using a controlled natural language can help to make complex computing tasks accessible to non-technical users in their own language. As part of the InternationalTechnology Alliance (ITA, see https://www.usukita.org/) a Controlled Natural Language called “ITA Controlled English” (CE) has been developed. The IBM Controlled Natural Language Processing Environment software provides an environment where CE can be used to model a domain and reason about it.
