Once a community is designated as solely for your organization, it can never be changed to allow people from outside your organization.
The developerWorks application is a great tool for IT professionals to explore and discover developerWorks content and community, connect with other IT professionals and subject matter experts, and seek out opportunities to share expertise on IBM products, solutions and open standard technologies.

Users can discover what's happening, as its happening, in the developerWorks community, follow updates specific to a community application, another user, or keep up with all the feedback to their own contributions. The application allows users to search by keyword, tag or another user's name, find artifacts and access them directly from the iPhone using the built-in Safari web browser. If users find activity worth exploring they can save it for later, and recall all saved items directly from their My developerWorks profile.

Don't have a profile? Register, and then login to easily update profile status, or post to another user's board.
