    Creating a custom page in TBSM 4.2.1

    As a user with administrator privileges in IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager 4.2.1 fix pack 2, you have the capability to create a custom page using the Tivoli Integrated Portal.  It takes only a few steps, and they are captured in the following video: You can view a larger version of this video  here .

    The memory usage of the web browser hosting the TBSM console client JVM increases as the size of the business service model environment increases. If the maximum Java™ heap size setting is too low, the JVM will spend a significant amount of time performing garbage collection.     As I begin my adventure into performance analysis of the Business Service Management solution, I am finding that, because there are so many parts and pieces to the solution, as well as the large number of services (Cloud, SOA, etc) that can be involved, it is critical that for the business services management software to accurately provide executives the current state of its business, a solid & reliable corporate network must be in place.
