Global Customer Partnership Council

Council guidelines and etiquette

The Global Customer Partnership Council guidelines and etiquette page provides guidelines about participation, meetings, and communication in the Global Customer Partnership Council.

Introduction

This page describes the benefits of participating in the GCPC and states the requirements for Council members. As a member, you can expect to:

Participation

Participation in the Council is required to maintain membership. Council members participate in the following ways:

Any organization that does not have a representative in attendance and is not active in at least fifty percent of Council meetings risks forfeiting its membership in the Council. Lotus reserves the right to ask members who do not fulfill their participation commitments to resign from the Council.

Meetings

The GCPC meets monthly online and once per year in person. These meetings are open to Council members, invited speakers, and meeting facilitators. To request additional participants at a meeting, submit a notification at least one week in advance of the meeting to awentley@us.ibm.com.

All meetings, online and in person, are documented. Meeting minutes and video/audio replay are available to Council members within two weeks of the meeting either from the Council presenter or from another source.

Council members are responsible for all travel and expenses to in-person meetings.

Communications

Formal communication among Council members occurs in the GCPC Forum, via email, or via regular or express mail. All communication on developerWorks Lotus is secure, requiring a developerWorks Lotus (LDD/Notes.net) registration and Council membership to access the Web site forum or Lotus Notes database. Any communication on the site may be read by other Council members, Lotus sales and marketing representatives, Lotus product team members, and senior managers within the Lotus division.

Communication among Council members is confidential and not to be shared with individuals outside of the Council without expressed and agreed consent of the Council members and the Lotus division. All Council member organizations are required to have a current IBM Agreement for Exchange of Confidential Information (AECI) that is effective for a minimum of one year.

No communication related to Council activities is relayed to the press or to non-members without prior written consent of the Lotus division and the member organizations.

You only need to be logged in to My developerWorks.

And what's the point of adding your interests to your profile? That's how you find other users with the same interests as yours, and see what they're reading and contributing to the community. Your interests also help us recommend relevant developerWorks content to you.

Help: Remove from My dW interests

What's this?

Removing this interest does not alter your profile, but rather removes this piece of content from a list of all content for which you've indicated interest. In a future enhancement to My developerWorks, you'll be able to see a record of that content.
