Wrapup

With Perl, DBI, DBD::DB2, and the IBM DB2 UDB installed on your Linux system together with a basic understanding of Perl DB2 programming, achieved by the analysis of the example program, you can now continue to explore the use of DB2 with Perl.

You can apply the information in this tutorial to other databases and to other programming languages. For example, you could now install Java® and a Java interface to DB2. Or you could install MySQL and the DBD::mysql to access the MySQL database with the Perl DBI.
