The following chart shows:
For random workload types (e.g. accessing database records directly) DASD performance
can be improved significantly by switching to Normal Cache Replacement,
Inhibit Cache Loading or Record Access. This improvement
has been observed with a database benchmark that performs exclusive
random database accesses.
