This experimental patch provides multipath support v7 for LVM 1.0.7:

This patch supersedes the 2003-04-16 experimental patch.
Changes are:

  • Fix pv_check_and_add_paths.c in liblvm to correctly order the paths in ascending major-minor order.
  • Improved pvpath command to run faster on busy systems.
  • Changed error message of pvpathsave to be more meaningful.

To create the complete source, the following needs to be applied in sequence:

lvm_1.0.7.tar.gz (from ftp.sistina.com/pub/LVM/1.0/)
+ lvm-1.0.7-mp-v7-4.tar.gz
