- Hardware requirements
- An S/390 or zSeries configuration with a recommended 64MB of
memory (absolute minimum 16MB)
- The zfcp HBA API support is only available on IBM eServer
zSeries 990 mainframes with a microcode level (MCL) that includes
the enhancements of October 31, 2003. Be sure to use the latest
available microcode level.
- Software requirements
- If you are using Linux as a VM-guest, z/VM Version 4 Release 3
or higher is required
- SCSI IPL for Linux as a VM-guest requires z/VM Version 4
Release 4 (PTF UM30989 installed) or higher
- Following MCF is needed to run LCS on Multiprise 3000:
