The following articles highlight further major enhancements to the core Rational software solutions, announced during the month of December 2004. These solutions, code-named "Atlantic," help unify development team members on the open Eclipse framework and more tightly link business, development, and operations organizations.The solutions from Rational, including new products for architects, developers, testers, and project managers, help unify software development teams on the open Eclipse framework and more tightly link business, development, and operations functions within an organization. Because Rational's new offerings are based on Eclipse, a single, open platform, every member of the software development team can now more effectively share information throughout the development process, improving the productivity, quality, and predictability of software development. Customer evaluations
Evaluation versions are now planned for availability on 1/7/2005. They will be available for customers to download from the IBM Customer Support Trials and Betas site. Note: Evaluation versions of Atlantic products are built to expire 30 or 60 days after you install the product. There are no evaluation license keys to install or manage for the initial evaluation period.
