Private RFEs

Private RFEs are RFEs that can be viewed only by IBM, the RFE author, members of a group with the RFE in its watchlist, and users with the RFE in their watchlist. Only the author of the RFE can add a private RFE to their watchlist or a group watchlist. Private RFEs appear in various public views, such as Top 20 watched or Planned RFEs; however, only limited information about the RFE will be displayed.

IBM determines the default RFE visibility of an RFE, either public or private, and IBM may change the RFE visibility at any time. If you are watching an RFE and have subscribed to e-mail notifications, you will be notified if the visibility of the RFE changes.

Note: E-mail notifications for visibility changes will be delivered in late 2010.

New page design

As you work your way through the RFE Community, you may notice that some pages have an updated look and feel. Applications across all IBM sites are being updated to provide a more streamlined and accessible look and feel. The RFE Community is part of this redesign effort. Because we'll be incorporating these updated pages throughout several releases, you'll notice gradual changes throughout the application.
