Wrap up
Summary
In this tutorial, we discussed many of the ways in which the JDNC API can simply your Java UI development. Without extensive changes to your existing code, you can simply improve your UI using the JDNC Swing extensions. The JDNC Components further simplify your tasks by implementing many commonly used functions. Next, you saw how to perform data binding with the JDNC API, and what the advantages were. Last, but not least, we covered the JDNC DataSet API, which bridges the data between the database and our data binding.
Thanks to JXTable, we can stop reinventing the wheel by implementing table sorting and highlighting functions over and over again. With the data binding mechanism in JDNC, creating data-centric applications becomes a breeze. I hope that the JDNC project will continue to advance, bringing us us more exciting features to simplify our programming lives further.
