Nearly a year and a half after launching Go-ForIt.com to sharpen their development skills, our team of IBM® architects, known as the dragonslayers, is on another quest -- the continuing challenge to improve their ability to provide relevant consulting expertise to IBM Business Partners. In their first adventure, the team took on the dragon by developing their own Web application. The first Go-ForIt project and the related articles dealt almost exclusively with coding issues with IBM development tools and deployment on IBM middleware products. Now, the dragonslayers take up the gauntlet of integrating new products and technologies on heterogenous platforms.

If you were with us on the first quest, welcome back! If not, join us as we relate our experiences and adventures in extending the reach of Go-ForIt beyond the WebSphere® domain and into the realm of Web services, data management, Lotus®, Tivoli®, and Linux®.
