HTTPS (SSL) based Tivoli admin console as Web Clipping portlet   

I am trying to provide Tivoli admin console application as a web clipping portlet in my portal application for the system administrators so that they can adminmister everything at one place.

I am trying to add HTTPS (SSL) based Tivoli admin console as Web Clipping portlet. URL of Tivoli admin console is something like:
https://host:port/IDSWebApp/IDSjsp/Login.jsp

I am getting an error:
WCSVC0012W: The content for "https://host:port/IDSWebApp/IDSjsp/Login.jsp
" could not be retrieved! The SSL handshaking process did not complete successfully.

While I am configuring web clipping portlet I am on a URL for portal admin console like shown below. Also users will logon using same URL:
http://host:port/wps/portal

Any ideas how can I make this work?
