This Article Says we can use the base features for free. But it does not seem to work.

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0902jenson/#N1015F

We have tried uninstalling completely IBM Data Studio Developer 2.2 and reinstalling it with Advanced features turned off.

We have also had it installed with the Advanced features on and then modifying the install to remove the advanced features.

Could we have some help trying to get the base features to work so it does not pop up and give us the manage license Box at the beginning. This is a far better tool to use than the Control Center and Command Center and db2cmd.

Thanks in advance Jeff.

Hi, Jeff
If you're using 2.2, then you can get the base features without worrying about trial licenses. The article you reference is from 2.1.

The updated article for 2.2 is here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0909optimpackaging/

Links to downloads are included there or you can go to the Data Studio web site at http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/optim/data-studio/

Hope this helps.
