Does Data Studio support the use of SSL? I'd like to use the tool to connect to an Informix database using protocol onsocssl. Will I be able to do this?

Hi,

Yes, this is supported. However, in order to use JDBC and SSL with Informix 11.5, you will have to use the IBM Informix JDBC and SQLJ driver rather than the legacy Informix JDBC driver. You will also have to configure your Informix server to use DRDA and SSL (drsocssl). The attached document with this post talks on how to setup the Data Studio portion.

Thanks,
VG.
