You are invited to an IBM Open Mic discussion about IBM CICS Explorer on 11 November 2009 at 11:00 AM EST.

The IBM CICS Explorer is a new graphical tooling interface for CICS, providing significantly enhanced levels of usability and integration. It is intended to act as the tooling integration point for the CICS runtime and to provide a rich set of CICS views, data, methods, and features.

IBM would like to encourage you to submit your questions prior to the scheduled date by emailing them to lamjosep@ca.ibm.com. Additional questions will be accepted during the Open Mic provided that there is time. You may also post your questions to this thread.

The focus of the Open Mic will be on "why", "what", and "how to" questions, for example:

• Will I be able to stop and start regions from the CICS Explorer?
• What does integrating the tools into the Explorer give me?
• Will CPSM Workload Management (WLM) become part of the CICS Explorer?
• Will CICS Performance Analyzer include any more information such as statistical data in future?

Plan to join the meeting 10 minutes early. For more information and details on how to participate in this and other free WebSphere Support Technical Exchanges click here.

Date: November 11, 2009
