Hi all,

Is there a way to add a user to Octigate DB2 database without having access to the Application Monitoring Console because of WAS security settings and the admin id (SAITM) not being part of the external LDAP registry?

ITCAMfWAS V6.1 FP4 on WAS FP23 and AIX 5.3.

Adding user outside the application monitoring console is not recommended.

When adding user, you can provide a user id that maps to actual user id in LDAP or whatever registry WebSphere Application Server is using.

The actual userid of LDPA or WAS registry is internal and need not be exposed to ITCAM users.

I don't know the answer. You might want to open a PMR and get the official support folks to see if there is a supported way to do this.
