Hi All,
I am badly in need of the textual message information for the SNMP Object ID's sent from the DS Storage Manager10 . I am receiving the following SNMP and the values.

SNMP OID Values
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.1
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.2
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.4 Host (Example: DS4500-WVA-XL-Penn)
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.5
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.6 Date and Time
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.7 Message
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.8
1.3.6.1.4.1.1123.4.500.1.1.9
I am not able to identify what the other SNMP OID's relates to . I am in the process of integrating this tool for some Event management Console. I am using this traps for collecting the information/alerts from the device.
I request you to provide me some info on this.

Hi Sankar,

Following info extracted from the SM10-R2-MIB.
This isn't installed with the storage manager but is included in the zip file.
(I note you didn't get number 3?)

.1 "Type of IP Address of the network-attached device or device host. 0 unknown, 1 ipv4, 2 ipv6"
.2 "IP Address of the network-attached device or device host."
.3 "The user label for the host of the device being reported on."
.4 "The user label for the device being reported on."
.5 "The error code as reported by the device or host."
.6 "The time at which the event happen on the device."
.7 "A string to indicate the nature of the trap"
.8 "A string to identify the failing component type"
.9 "A string to identify the location of the failing component"

Hope it helps.
