how to combine IBM Director6.1 and Server Raid Manager 9.1

I tried to this procedures but it couldn't Working, so please helped me how to use.

This procedure does work. I have installed a similar configuration with SRAID Manager 9 and I was able to launch the SRAID Manager Console against a machine that had the SRAID Adapter 8k model.

You have not said anything about the details of your problem - as to what is going wrong exactly and where, nor have you provided any evidence in terms of screenshots or logs, so it is difficult to advise you as to what to do.

I Try to upgrade fix v6.1.02 and install Server Raid Manager 9 ,but System Configuration not ServerRAID Manager Option

Hi I'm trying to get Server raid manage 9.0 to work within Director 6.1.3.

I am following the direction on

I have trouble with Section

On the Managed Agent system
Imported the Adaptec Handlers/Filters/Subscriptions located in <install dir: >\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\icc\cimom\bin

Imported ....... ?

Also when I run the command

cimsubscribe -b AdaptecIndicationSettings_Windows.dat

I get this in cmd

C:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\icc\cimom\bin>cimsubscribe -b AdaptecIndicatio
nSettings_Windows.dat
Connecting to localhost:5988...
Error: Batch File AdaptecIndicationSettings_Windows.dat cannot be opened.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue

Did you verify the file AdaptecIndicationSettings_Windows.dat resides in the \BIN directory? It may be in a different directory (I don't have a system here to test with).

Hi, Pleae make sure you have done below steps
Step 1) install 'Serve Raid 9 Level 1 Agent for IBM Director' -
your can download this from http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/management/director/downloads/director5.html site. After installtion
you can see 'ServerRAID Manager fir Director Core Services 9.00.16974 (6 MB)' entry in add and remove programs list
Step 2) Now follow the below steps
a) Go to c:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\icc\cimom\bin via command promt and type 'cimsubscribe -b AdaptecIndicationSettings_Windows.dat'
b) Created the following CIM subscriptions: using cimsubscribe utility
-cs -fn "RAID Unknown" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Other" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Information" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Warning" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Minor" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Major" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID Critical" -hn "Health"
-cs -fn "RAID FATAL" -hn "Health"
c) Restart WMI
d) Restart IBM Director CIM Listener

Thanks for the info,

Everything looks like it working except I don't have the option of running ServeRAID Manager
for director. It's not under External Storage Application.

It's installed on the server (9.00.00(16923))!
