Hi Stephen,
Our company has bought the Software Value package.
As part of this package we have – “You test/pass IBM pays” – Essentially making the test taking free for us.

I have heard that this applies only to specific certifications.

Do you know if any/both of the SOA certification exams qualify in this category?

How does this work? Do we first pay and take the test - then send IBM a proof of the test - then IBM reimburses us?

Thanks!

Well, live and learn. I have not spent any time on the marketing and sales side of the house, so I am not all that familiar with the provisions of the PartnerWorld program. And they restrict access to the information to members, so I can't just pull the information up. Membership, with limited benefits is free, so anyone else can check this out too, but if you go to this URL:
http://www-304.ibm.com/jct01005c/partnerworld/mem/learn/tac_wepay_yt_q2_na.html
and log in, I think you will get the information you are looking for.

Please let us know the details. Since the program is a benefit of paid membership in PartnerWorld, I don't see why anyone would object to a more complete description of the benefit's being published here.
